Global Ports Holding at Cruise Shipping Miami

Turkey's leading port operator Global Ports Holding represented Turkey with a great success for the 10th time at the major international event of the cruise sector "Cruise Shipping Miami 2013" in the USA.
For the 10th consecutive year, Global Ports Holding has successfully represented Turkey at the "Cruise Shipping Miami”, the leading and most important annual meeting of the cruise sector, where several exhibitions and conferences are taking place and where world famous suppliers and decision makers of the industry attend. Among 2000 participants, including cruise lines and operators, GPH was among the firms drawing the highest attention.
This year GPH was present with two stands under the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism’s stand but also under the Turkish Cruise Platform booths.
Global Ports Holding Marketing Director Figen Ayan said they were proud to represent Turkey at Cruise Shipping Miami, which is considered to be a very important event for cruise tourism. Expressing their happiness of being considered among the largest firms of the sector, Ayan said that the ports operated by GPH; Ege Ports, The Port of Kuşadası, Port Akdeniz – The Port of Antalya and Bodrum Cruise Port, are among the ports the tour operators offer to their customers confidently and came to agreements with brand new cruise lines.
Ayan said that they were happy about the high interest shown at GPH as the largest port operator of Turkey, and highlighted the importance of the right marketing efforts for Turkey to take its share from fast developing cruise industry. She added that thanks to their attendance to the event, as GPH they have been contributing to the promotion of Turkey and they were proud to place Turkey among the leading destinations of the World, where it deserves.
