Antonio Di MonteRavenna Cruise Port

Welcome to Ravenna! The city of mosaics welcomes you with its beautiful endless beaches and a historic town that brings several cultures together.

Ravenna is a city of mosaics, and is a top destination thanks to its geographical location. Its proximity to Venice, Bologna and the independent Republic of San Marino, as well as the reduced travel time to Florence thanks to the recently completed high speed rail connections, all make it an attractive cruise destination. Ravenna Cruise Port is the only port in the Mediterranean which grants quick, easy access to both Florence and Venice. Cruise traffic in the Adriatic Sea is always on the rise, and Ravenna Cruise Port is very well positioned to benefit from this increase, as it’s one of the most appealing Italian cruise ship destinations. Ravenna is located in the middle of the most fuel-efficient routes, including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece.

Thanks to its brand new cruise terminal, Ravenna is now a major Italian cruise destination. The terminal is located at the Porto Corsini waterfront, between the yacht marina, beaches and a pine forest: A beautiful natural setting that perfectly matches its cheerful and vibrant atmosphere. At the port entrance stands the brand new strategically located 300 m pier with two berths which can accommodate ships up to 330 m on a draft of 8.80 m. There is a 600 m2 terminal which houses customs and immigration services for in-transit ships. A larger terminal (2,000 m2) can be set up for homeporting or inter-porting ships during the cruise season.

The cruise terminal is only 20 minutes’ drive from Ravenna. A shuttle service is available to the city center.

Together with the Airport of Bologna and Venezia Terminal Passeggeri, and in partnership with the City of Ravenna, the Chamber of Commerce and the Port Authority, Ravenna Cruise Port delivers a unique product, supported by enthusiasm and professionalism, with guest satisfaction as its primary aim.

Global Ports Holding acquired the majority of shares in Ravenna Terminal Passeggeri (Ravenna Cruise Port) in 2016.

Ravenna is one of Italy’s major artistic cites; a unique blend of cultures, with its Byzantine and Christian heritage on display in the architecture of its churches. In Ravenna, visitors can stroll around the old streets and peaceful squares with fine shops and renowned ‘trattorias’, where they can taste the delicious cuisine of the Emilia-Romagna region.
