Are you detail-oriented with a strong passion for accuracy, processes and controls? As Accounting Manager, you will support the daily operations of the Finance Department and safeguard the integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee treasury and financial reporting, including review of management accounts and draft financial statements
• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, trial balance, and monthly reconciliations
• Ensure completion and sign-off of monthly departmental tasks
• Manage fixed assets, including register maintenance, inspections, and tracking of additions and disposals
• Review supplier payments and coordinate new supplier approvals
• Support year-end audits and quarterly reviews
• Assist with strategic initiatives, ad hoc reporting, and administrative finance functions

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA is an asset)
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting frameworks
• A minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience at a supervisory level
• Strong technical skills including working knowledge of various accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid understanding of auditing and internal controls
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Effective leadership, communication, and time management abilities
• Must have the legal right to live and work in The Bahamas
