Full Job Description

As an Events Associate, you will be at the center of the action, helping to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events from corporate functions to concerts, charter cruise events, community events, weddings, and large-scale public and/or private experiences.

This role calls for a high-energy, detail-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about hospitality, service excellence, and creating memorable guest experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of events, including timelines, logistics, and on-site coordination
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Assist with port tours, scheduling, and guest experiences
  • Oversee event setup, breakdown, and live execution, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Manage event logistics including catering, décor, audio-visuals, and site plans
  • Serve as an on-site point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Support ticketing, check-in, and cash management processes where required
  • Monitor event performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high standard of delivery
  • Maintain event documentation, budgets, reports, and post-event evaluations
  • Support tenant matters relative to Commercial Management and Events interface
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Interface with and liaise with tenants and vendors in the port community

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree or relevant experience in events, hospitality, or a related field
  • Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a creative eye for execution
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in The Bahamas
