Full Job Description
Function: Finance and HR Manager
Reporting to General Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Monitor and analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets, improve profitability and ensure legal compliance.
- Reporting: Prepare and examine financial records on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance: Manage and comply with all government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Audit: Support group audit processes and manage the preparation of audit reviews (6 months/yearly).
- Budgeting: Manage the annual budget and projections, presenting company performance and forecasting to the board and senior management.
- Process Improvement: Participate in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
- Record Keeping: Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
- Human Resources: Collaborate on recruitment processes, including role definition, budgeting, and candidate evaluation. Oversee payroll coordination. Contribute to performance management processes. Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies from a financial and administrative perspective.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Manage and complete ad-hoc projects as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Working with external auditors.
- Relationship management with cruise line operator finance leads.
- Contribute to the annual budget process and prepare projections with the General Manager and senior group management.

Qualifications / Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Strong quantitative skills and organized personality.
- Decision Making: Adept at analyzing information and making strategic decisions.
- Confidentiality: Understanding of confidentiality and responsibility.
- Financial Modeling: Skills in financial modeling and awareness of business trends.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing environments.
- Experience: Experience with international finance and tax matters is a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BA or BS in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a financial controller or accounting manager.
- CMA or CPA certification is desirable.
