Zadar Cruise Port, operated by Global Ports Holding, the world’s largest cruise port operator, is proud to announce that it has been titled Europe’s Best Cruise Terminal 2025 and recognized as finalist for World’s Best Cruise Terminal 2025 award at the 5th World Cruise Awards gala ceremony held in Bahrain. This marks a remarkable achievement for the port, which received the same prestigious recognition in 2023. The award reaffirms Zadar Cruise Port’s consistent excellence in service, operational efficiency, and passenger experience, solidifying its position as one of Europe’s premier cruise destinations.
“We are honored to receive the Europe’s Best Cruise Terminal 2025 award at the 5th World Cruise Awards. Being recognized again confirms that our team’s dedication to excellence, service quality, and passenger experience continues to set Zadar Cruise Port apart, as a prestigious cruise terminal on the global scene. We are proud to showcase the beauty and hospitality of Zadar and Croatia to the world through our work.” Rebeka V. Pevec, General Manager of Zadar Cruise Port, expressed pride in the accomplishment, emphasizing that this recognition reflects the dedication of the entire team and the support of partners and the local community.
Since opening its modern passenger terminal in 2019, Zadar Cruise Port has rapidly developed into one of the Adriatic’s most advanced cruise facilities. Designed for both transit and turnaround operations, it can accommodate some of the largest cruise vessels in the world. The port’s strategic location provides seamless access to both Zadar and Zagreb Airports and the national motorway network, while its proximity to the historic city center and to array of county’s micro destinations gives guests and passengers easy access to the region’s cultural and natural attractions.
The World Cruise Awards recognize excellence across the cruise industry, evaluating ports, terminals, destinations, and ships based on service quality, operational performance, guest satisfaction, and overall experience. Zadar Cruise Port’s repeated recognition underscores its growing prominence in the European cruise market and its commitment to maintaining the highest standards for passengers and cruise lines alike.
Zadar Cruise Port, with its modern infrastructure, professional service, and a focus on passenger, guest and crew comfort, continues to set benchmarks for cruise operations in the Adriatic region, which annually reflects in record numbers of cruise calls and guests visiting the destination.
